While it's important to sacrifice occasionally for your goals, it's equally important that you don't over exert yourself past your capabilities. You are only on this Earth one time so don't neglect your family and friends in the pursuit of money.

Mission

Good day, I am a firefighter/Paramedic in southern Florida with a few years on the job. I'm no financial advisor or 20 year assistant chief or someone that has all of life's answers figured out either. I'm someone who has seen repeated cases of people financially struggling no matter the annual income. From this I started asking questions and more questions.

Most people getting into the field just want to make a difference and get right into the work grind. We aren't taught about pensions and DROP and 457s in fire or medic school.

With these things in mind I created BSM. I hope to continue learning and then sharing everything I've accumulated in a clear and concise way that can help you make informed financial decisions. Lets break some cycles and bad habits together!
